PM SHRI KV Manauri a Defence Sector Vidyalaya is situated in Air Force Station, Manauri, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was opened as one of the twenty regimental schools in 1964 with the aim to cater the educational need of the children of Central Govt. Employee, including Defence Personnel liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. The aim of Kendriya Vidyalayas is to provide education according to the Principles of the New Education Policy 2020, to bring out the best and noblest qualities in children, to infuse in its students a feeling of patriotism, brotherhood and national integration so as to make them good and loyal citizens, the nation builders of tomorrow in the real sense.
Presently there are 50 classes running in the vidyalaya starting from Balvatika-3 to Class XII. The vidyalaya is spread in 15acre land of Air Force Station Manauri with approx. 8000sq.mtr of buildup area and remaining land is open for playing and other activities of school. It is situated at Allahabad Kanpur GT Road which is easily accessible from district head quarter.

Important Milestone of Growth

PM SHRI KV AFS MANAURI established in 1964 as a one of the first twenty regimental schools.
In year 2003: One section increased from class I to class IX.
In year 2004- 05: 2nd shift started from Class I to class IX.
In year 2005-06: A well equipped Senior Computer lab developed
In year 2005-06: One section increased for class XI (Science) and class XII(Science).
In year 2012-13: One section increased for class XI (Commerce) and class XII(Commerce).
In year 2013-14: Ten E-class rooms established.
Gradual Year Wise Expansion In Classes And Sections Leading To Present Status
Presently Balvatika-3 has included in Primary Section of the Vidyalaya since 2023-24
Presently, from classes I to X four sections are running in each classes
In Class XI Science (2-Section), Commerce (1-Section) and Humanities (1-Section) are being running in secondary section of the vidyalaya since 2024-25
In Class XII Science (2-Section), Commerce (2-Section) and Humanities (1-Section) are being running in secondary section of the vidyalaya
The Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Manauri has been upgraded as PMSHRI school since 2023.
