Orientation Programme for Principals organised at K V Manauri

Sri Aurobindo Society organized a comprehensive one-day orientation programme for the Principals of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Varanasi Region on May 13, 2024, at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force Station Manauri. The programme aimed at enhancing leadership skills, fostering innovation, and promoting effective educational practices among the educational leaders of the region.
The programme began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Dr. Shalini Dixit, Assistant Commissioner of KVS Regional Office Varanasi and the Resource persons from Sri Aurobindo Society. Shri Manish Kumar Tripathi, Principal KV Manauri welcomed the Chief Guest, Resource Persons and the delegates.
Dr. Shalini Dixit, renowned for her insightful contributions to the field of education, provided valuable insights and guidance to the principals, emphasizing the importance of transformative leadership in shaping the future of education. She commended the efforts of the Aurobindo Society in organizing such an insightful programme and emphasized the role of continuous professional development in enhancing the quality of education. She urged the principals to leverage the knowledge gained from the orientation programme to create nurturing and inclusive learning environments in their schools.
The orientation programme was conducted by distinguished resource persons, Ms. Sonika Tyagi and Ms. Baishali Ganguli from Sri Aurobindo Society who shared their expertise and experiences with the attendees. Ms. Tyagi and Ms. Ganguli delved into various aspects of educational leadership, including curriculum development, pedagogical innovations, and effective management strategies.
Through interactive sessions, case studies, and group discussions, the principals gained practical knowledge and skills essential for driving positive change in their respective institutions. The programme also served as a platform for networking and collaboration, enabling the principals to exchange ideas and best practices for the holistic development of students.
The one-day orientation programme concluded on a high note, with the participants expressing gratitude to the Aurobindo Society for their commitment to educational excellence. As the Principals of KVS Varanasi Region return to their respective institutions, they carry with them renewed zeal and a fresh perspective, ready to lead with vision and purpose in the pursuit of academic excellence.
At the end of the orientation programme, the vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Pradeep Kumar Mishra, Vice Principal while compeering was done by Gangadhar Pandey, PGT English of the Vidyalaya.
